Access Statement

From the pavement, Brooklands has four steps with hand rails on each side, leading to a block paved patio area. There is a smoking area on a lower level with an additional handrail.

Two further steps take guests into the front hall of Brooklands. Wheelchair access is via a ramp in a secure area at the rear of the building. The gates will be opened for guests on arrival. Please let Brooklands staff know access requirements when booking.

The ground floor is level for the dining room, bar, and all ground floor rooms apart from room 16 which has one small step to gain access to the room. All rooms have a single step up to gain access to the en-suite shower.

There are two short flights of stairs (13 in number) to the first floor and a further one-step up for rooms 2, 3, 10,11 & 12.  The remainder are all at one level again with a step up to gain access to the showers.

Both staircases are fitted with  stair lifts (18 stone maximum weight) giving easy access to upper rooms.
